Got an 'Inactive Creator' flag when running a SPARK analysis. The creator still has 800K subs and recent comments on their videos. What's triggering this and does it matter?
Leila H.The flag fires when SparkLine can't find enough recent long-form upload data to compute reliable per-video performance stats — it doesn't necessarily mean the creator is gone dark. It can also trigger if the creator posts primarily Shorts (which aren't counted as long-form) or if they've had a recent upload gap. Best thing to do: click into the creator profile and check the posting cadence manually. If they're actively uploading but just shifted format (e.g., to Shorts-heavy content), weight the score accordingly and don't penalize them for the flag.
