How do I build a creator roster for a brand that's completely new to influencer marketing?

Working with a client who's never done influencer marketing before. They have a $30K quarterly budget and sell home organization products. Where do I even start with building a roster?

Start with 3–5 micro-influencers (50K–200K subs) rather than one macro. For home org specifically, the niche is *very* active on YouTube — think cleaning motivation, declutter vlogs, minimalism content. Search those formats in the Creator Finder and filter by posting frequency (at least bi-weekly keeps the audience warm). $30K goes a lot further at this tier, you'll get 3–4 dedicated integrations vs. a single mid-roll on a 1M+ channel.

Don't skip the Intel tab before you commit — check whether any of the shortlisted creators have sponsored a direct competitor in the last 6 months. Home org is a crowded space and exclusivity conflicts can kill a deal after weeks of back-and-forth.
